Omni Hotel Las Colinas, its summer time in Texas, hot days, some weekends you want to get away, I love lobby hotels, great to people watch and relax with a book, while everyone still sleeping, I was looking to photograph this hotel for a while now (not-sponsored) the lobby entrance felt amazing, and the empty areas early in the morning made for great pictures, out of curiosity I looked at the online reviews, and all sites, have great reviews and recommendations, I will go back to see the bar tender in action, and I have to agree that he/she is very good for the way they left the bar from the previous night events.
The light was perfect, energy felt great, the pool was packed for a cloudy day, life is back to normal, as we know it, and I like it, escaping away for a nice picture moment like the ones you will see here, made a huge difference, and the conference rooms are huge and they were in use so I did not take any shot, but if you planning an event that does not require a huge convention center (close by) you can have the conference room, and this hotel is super close, walking distance, if you like a 10+ minute walk, to the Toyota Music Factory, were lots of food, and attraction are available.
Sometimes sleeping on a different bed will get the creative juices, for an inventor or entrepreneur, or the love juices for a couple, or the party juices, get the juices flowing, enjoy every moment, come to Dallas, travel, support your local business, your weekend stay will have a great impact in your personal life, and in the lives of the hotel staff that you are supporting, if every person take a tiny little step, our economy will keep moving and we will be making life better for everyone.
This was a special weekend as we had, A-KON 2022, happening at the Irving Convention Center, and it was amazing, I had a lot of fun, and may write about in the future, amazing new events are coming in the future, and all is happening here. This hotel is one of great other options for attending Convention Center events, not too far from the DFW airport if you are flying in, and great for a sleep over if you are driving in, stay up late, party late, responsibly, and drive fresh on the next morning, everybody wins.
